Hello folks! Welcome to the first entry on the brand spanking new Funkydoo music blog. On this little group of pages we'll bring you guest mixes of some of the beautiful cutting edge music that exists on this planet - and of course we'll also bring you some general rambles about things going on in the world of funky noise.

So, it's time to plug your computer into the biggest speakers you own and crank up the sounds whilst reading whatever jargon we have to rant about at any particular time. At long last, it really is an exciting time in the coming months of the music scene in Swindon, and we promise to bring you news and razzmatazz about the upcoming musical lovelyness as we get it.

Our first fully featured mix is by Funkydoo resident DJ Smalley and contains nearly two full hours of incredibly nasty floor-emptying dirty balearic disco music. This music is ROCKING the more discerning venues around the country at the moment and it's time we brought it home.

You can find the tracklisting on the bottom right of this page and if you so wish you can hunt down some of these musical gems yourself. Or, look out for some upcoming gigs and come along to listen to the tunes whilst wabbling your knees and drinking your favourite tipple.
