Hey ho Funkydoo readers...

Well, we have another stupidly long weekend of celebrations ahead, and we thought we'd give you a second mix in a week to celebrate and let you know about what's going on.

As usual on the Bank Hoiday Sundays in Swindon's Old Town we have an amazingly versatile array of quality music coming from various hotspots around the town all day long. We almost think that everyone should all work together and call the bastard a festival. But as we havn't, and Swindon is small enough that everyone will no doubt check out what every bar and club has on offer, we thought we'd outline everything going on in one place so that you don't miss a thing.

Firstly, we'll shamelessly plug our own little shindig that's happening in longsbar in Swindon's old town, whilst you listen to some of the tunes that we'll be playing, as part of an all day mixture of jazz, funk, hiphop, disco, house, breaks and anything goes underground drinking music. Funkydoo's own DJ Smalley will be spinning all day alongside the amazing Invincible festival head honcho Vinz M and Cybernetic and if you like it funky, then pop in and see us at some point.

Then, you have the annual SN1 fest going on in the Bell pub in old town. Three areas of music to choose from here crossing Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Jungle, Funkydub Hip Hop, House, Tech, Electro and Trance. Phew. This is gonna 'go off' as they say, so get in here for some of those gritty afternoon shenanigans that sometimes make an all day drinking session a good one.

Next up, you have Sunday Skool all day BBQ and tunes event at Old Town's Pig on the Hill pub. This promises to be a nicely chilled out soulful and urban affair with local DJ's Stu Cambell, Ryan Desty, AJ Mayhew and Paul Carroll providing the summery soundtrack around some live acts including Neville Williams, Jasmine Knight, Jimmy Moore and others...

Finally, if this lot doesn't kill you, then the 'nightclubbing' event of choice seems to be the massive old skool havin-it rave up night provided by the mammoth EKTOS machine. Shades of Rhythm are doing a full live set and they are supported by the legendary Top Buzz and some of Swindon's finest DJ's from back in the day.

So, that's it folks - I think it's safe to say that Sunday is going to be a corker and you have every kind of club culture music at your fingertips and dancing pleasure..
